The Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus was founded in March 1931 at the department of the Belarusian Academy of Sciences and is the country's leading research center in the field of economic science. For more than 87 years, the Institute has been carrying out fundamental and applied scientific research on topical problems of the national and world economies, and identifies fundamentally new ways of scientific and technological progress.
