ILKE was established in the 1980s and produces information, policies and strategies in the fields of education, business ethics, civil society, law and management. The Scientific Studies Association, Non-formal Education and Culture Association, and Turkey Economic Enterprise and Business Ethics Association are housed under ILKE. In addition, ILKE conducts research and development activities with the Islamic Economics Research Center (IKAM), Educational Policy Research Center (EPAM), Social Thought and Research Center (TODAM), and Civil Society Academy (STA).
