The ICEP, founded in September 2004, is a research facility of the Catholic University of Social Sciences Berlin. The ICEP sees itself as a political think tank: It examines the normative foundations and implications of social change and develops expertise on the ethical dimensions of sociopolitical issues. It communicates relevant political information and ethical reflections in politics, civil society and science, stimulates contacts and projects and thus forms a platform for Christian ethics in the political sphere.
