The IMK was founded in early 2005 in order to give greater weight to the overall economic perspective in economic research and economic policy discussion. The institute researches economic phenomena based on macroeconomic model relationships. The focus is on empirical research. It is based on Keynesian approaches to modern economic theory and the latest econometric methods.
