The Institute for Mobility Research is a research facility of the BMW Group. It deals with interdisciplinary and international perspectives on mobility. The aim of the institute is to ensure sustainable mobility in the long term. To achieve this ifmo initiates and supports research work, and stimulates technical discussions on current or future-oriented topics in the scientific, political and public environment, e.g. by organizing workshops, conferences and expert panels.
