The Liberal Institute is a Swiss think tank based in Zurich with offices in Bern, Geneva and Lugano. The foundation was founded in 1979 and disseminates liberal ideas, brings together those interested in liberalism and deals with fundamental questions of current relevance. It is committed to economic freedom and a society built on property and decentralized organization. To this end, it holds public events and publishes writings.
