Instituto de Estudios Económicos

The IEE was founded on 9 May 1979 by a group of Spanish entrepreneurs to promote, carry out and disseminate work and research on economic and social matters. The IEE is a private non-profit or political purpose association, funded primarily by annual contributions from companies that have joined it as associate members, along with the resources it obtains from the sale of its publications. A number of grants granted by a group of public and private institutions for the financing of specific research projects or through annual collaboration agreements also contribute to the financing of the IEE.
