The Instituto de Investigaciones Socio-Económicas de Universidad Católica Boliviana San Pablo (IISEC-UCB) is a centre of excellence in social and economic research. Its mission is to generate objective interdisciplinary knowledge and with solid empirical evidence on Bolivian and Latin American society and economy in the service of inclusive and sustainable development. Likewise, it aims to contribute to public, plural and informed debate in Bolivian society and in the national and international academic community through publications and participation in seminars, conferences and forums.
