The Institute of Health (IS) is a body linked to the Secretariat of the State of Health of Sao Paulo, whose fundamental mission is to evaluate health policies, aiding managers in decision making. They stimulate and develop scientific and technological research in health, and also carry out actions to disseminate scientific and technological knowledge to support decision-making in policies, programs, health care and management practices for the population.
