Instituto Paulo Freire is a non-profit civil association, created in 1991, whose mission is to keep Paulo Freire's legacy alive, reinventing it. It maintains the Paulo Freire Collection, recognized as a documentary heritage of humanity, by the UNESCO Memory of the World Program. Works with documentation, consultancy, social mobilization, training of educators, in the areas of adult education, human rights, citizenship since childhood. It integrates networks, collectives, forums, fighting all forms of injustice, violence, prejudice, exclusion and degradation of the community of life and human life.
