The Veredas Institute is a Brazilian non-profit and non-partisan organisation that was established in 2016. It aims to raise awareness among public policymakers, universities, and civil society of the importance of evidence-informed policymaking processes. It approaches scientific data with knowledge translation tools, adapting communication to people’s needs. It values transparency and believes that policy debates are only possible when every person can understand and develop opinions concerning public matters.
