IFAD is an international financial institution and specialised United Nations agency based in Rome, the UN’s food and agriculture hub. Its core work is aimed at empowering rural people to increase their food security, the nutrition of their families and their income. However, IFAD also engages in publishing research, tools and guidelines and briefs.
