International Institute of Political Science

The International Institute of Political Science has been operating at Masaryk University since 1990. It is one of the research institutes of the Faculty of Social Studies.The institute implements its own research projects, regularly publishes the results of its research, and coordinates and organizes conferences, seminars and lectures on current social topics. Territorial research activities of the Institute focus mainly on the Czech Republic and Europe. Specifically, the scientific activity of the Institute is profiled in four research areas: democracy and democratization, European politics, international security and electoral studies.
