The International Republican Institute is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization committed to advancing democracy and freedom. The organization links people with their governments, guides politicians to be responsive to citizens, and motivates people to engage in the political process. It encourages democracy in places where it is absent, helps democracy become more effective where it is in danger and shares best practices where democracy is flourishing.
