The Macdonald-Laurier Institute is Canada's public policy think tank. MLI is rigorously independent and non-partisan. The Macdonald-Laurier Institute exists to make poor quality public policy in Ottawa unacceptable to Canadians and MLI’s political and opinion leaders propose thoughtful alternatives through non-partisan and independent research and commentary.
