NPF, which is affiliated with the Kuomintang Party, is the successor of the Lien Cheng Tung Cultural and Educational Foundation. It is a policy research foundation that conducts research into national policies and reform programs of importance to the Republic of China in the 21st century. The foundation adheres to the principles of impartiality, objectivity and nonpartisanship, and aims at promoting national progress and development. In addition to proposing national policy ideas, NPF provides consulting services to advance the well-being of the nation and its people.
