The Hungarian Demographic Research Institute is the only research institute in Hungary that carries out research on population issues and processes. The research activities of the Institute encompass all the key themes of demography. The HDRI has a long tradition in empirical survey-based research. The Institute is an active partner in a wide range of international collaborations.
