New Zealand Institute of International Affairs

NZIIA, affiliated with the University of Wellington, seeks to promote the discussion and understanding of international issues that affect New Zealand. It is not a pressure group but a forum for discussion. As a non-profit organization, it is committed to impartiality and does not advocate specific policies, although it aims to help New Zealanders understand the increasingly complex international scene and its implications for New Zealand.
