Pandiá Calógeras

The Pandia Calogeras Institute is a research centre that provides direct assistance to the Defence Minister of Brazil. Its mission is to produce analysis, promote dialogue and stimulate the production of knowledge on areas of interest to national defence. The Institute also strives to strengthen communication channels between the academia, Brazilian and foreign think-tanks, civil servants and staff from non-governmental organizations of the national defence and international security area. In order to achieve that goal, Pandiá Institute disseminates information, organizes meetings with researchers and events on defence and participates in workshops and seminars.
