Policy Exchange

Policy Exchange is an independent, non-partisan educational charity. It works with academics and policy makers from across the political spectrum. It is particularly interested in free market and localist solutions to public policy questions. Policy Exchange is research-led and evidence-based: it proposes policies that politicians can actually implement and think strategically about the next steps to take, rather than proposing visionary schemes with no chance of being adopted. It advocates empowering communities to solve their own problems at a local level, and helping people to be more self-reliant rather than dependent.
