The Institute for the Development of Southern Peru - PROSUR, is a non-profit civil institution whose mission is to promote, strengthen and consolidate the decentralized development of the country through ideas, research, projects and identification of investment possibilities that allow the generation of employment and the raising of the standard of living of the population. It focuses on developing proposals aimed at the reactivation and development of Arequipa, in particular, and Southern Peru in general.
