The Council for Migration e. V. (abbreviation RfM) is a nationwide association of approximately 150 scientists in Germany who deal with questions of migration and integration in the legal form of a non-profit registered association. The Council for Migration publicly accompanys politicians in matters of migration and integration. Since their founding, they have campaigned for differentiated, democratic and far-sighted migration policies through publications, public appearances and statements in the media. The council is known through the migration report, published from 2000 to 2010, with contributions by scientists on current issues of migration, integration and minorities.
