Saint Pierre Center for International Security (SPCIS) was established in September 2020. It was jointly established by the Guangdong International Economic Association, the Guangdong Institute for Indo-Pacific Peace & Development Studies and TrueScholar International Consulting. SPCIS is committed to building China's first social think tank focusing on non-traditional security studies in the entire field. It seeks to provide research resources and coordination platforms to professionals engaged in non-traditional security-related research and practice. SPCIS aims to build bridges between domestic and international, government and market, theory and practice and provide new perspectives, new models and new ideas for the development of Chinese social think tanks.
