Sajogyo Institute is the center for agrarian studies, poverty, rural study, and documentation in Indonesia. The institute is engaged in the production and service of knowledge to advance social movements and improve agrarian policies, and rural development in the country. Its research topics are centered on: (1) Politics of Concession, Change, Land Use, and Global Commodity Chains; (2) Struggle for Women's Access to Land and Natural Resources; (3) Rural Social Movements for the Struggle of Land Sovereignty; (4) Changes in Politics and Agricultural Policy; and (5) Geneology of Indonesian Agrarian Studies.
