STIPRO is an independent, not for profit think tank devoted to producing knowledge that can be used to strengthen the national and sectoral systems of innovation for social and economic development. It does this through three interrelated set of activities: to carry out research (continues study of the systems), link research out puts to the decision making process – including science, technology and innovation (STI) policies, and to build capacity for both STI policy research and the policy process in the country, and Africa in general.
