SAHE is a nongovernmental organization established in 1982 by a group of concerned citizens and academics. It builds on the belief that educational justice entails not just access to schools, but to quality education, for all children in Pakistan. SAHE works through an extensive network, the Campaign for Quality Education (CQE), to conduct collaborative research and evidence-based advocacy on key issues to influence educational reform
