The Southern African Social Policy Research Institute (SASPRI) is a not for profit organisation committed to promoting social policy as an area of study in academia in Southern Africa. It is also committed to a rights-based approach to social policy as a route for development in the region. SASPRI organises and runs training events and conferences as well as activities to develop the evidence base for social policy interventions.
