The Swiss Institute for Global Affairs (SIGA) is an independent think tank based in Bern, Switzerland. SIGA conducts interdisciplinary research on geopolitics and security policy, aiming to increase the visibility of these issues, develop innovative analytical approaches, and raise public awareness of global challenges. Acting as a bridge between politics, academia, business, and civil society, the institute organises events, lectures, and training sessions, and produces publications, videos, and cartographic material. SIGA focuses on the BRICS and China, as well as the Indo-Pacific region, and broader global shifts and dimensions, including space, new technologies, and resources.
