The Institute for Alternative Thinking (IAT) is an independent, educational research institute based in Garowe, Puntland. IAT produces educational research toward improving quality education outcomes for all students, regardless of their socioeconomic status. IAT’s primary aim is to support academics, education practitioners, higher education students, educational development organisations, and educational policymakers to make sound, science-backed decisions.
