The Tom Lantos Institute is an independent human and minority rights organisation with a particular focus on Jewish and Roma communities and other ethnic or national, linguistic and religious minorities. As an international research, education and advocacy platform, TLI aims to bridge the gap between research and policy, norms and practice. In 2013-2016, TLI's principal strategic goal is human and minority rights education. TLI uses multidisciplinary approaches, focusing primarily on three issue areas: - Jewish life and anti-Semitism - Roma rights and citizenship - Human and minority rights
