The Environment and Forecasting Institute (UPI) is an interdisciplinary, non-profit research institute based in Heidelberg. Its main research areas are the analysis of the causes of environmental problems, the effectiveness analysis of environmental measures and laws forecasts. In addition they aim to develop solutions for environmental problems. The research projects carried out by the UPI Institute are published in reports.
