The V-Dem Institute headquarters is based at the Department of Political Science, University of Gothenburg, Sweden. It is the executive management arm of the V-Dem project, which collects and analyses data on the different varieties of democracies around the world. It is mainly responsible for most aspects of the data collection efforts, management and coordination of several large research programmes. It is also responsible for the outreach, dissemination, and collaboration with policy/practitioners’ organisations.
