The Central Institute for Economic Management (CIEM) is an agency of Vietnam’s Ministry of Planning and Investment, responsible for: research in economic policy, the promotion of scientific research, training in economic management and the establishment and coordination of relationships with countries and international organizations conducting economic research. CIEM carries out research to develop economic management science in Vietnam and serves as an important national think tank for economic issues.
