{"id":6031,"date":"2018-06-05T12:11:02","date_gmt":"2018-06-05T17:11:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/onthinktanks.org\/?post_type=event&#038;p=6031"},"modified":"2018-07-14T02:12:13","modified_gmt":"2018-07-14T07:12:13","slug":"ott-conference-in-africa-2018","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/onthinktanks.org\/event\/ott-conference-in-africa-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"OTT Conference in Africa 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 1st OTT Conference in Africa will take place in Pretoria on 17th July 2018. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.southernhemisphere.co.za\">Southern Hemisphere<\/a> is organising this one-day conference aimed at bringing together\u00a0thinktankers, policy entrepreneurs, funders and policymakers from around the world to present, discuss and debate a range of issues related think tanks and evidence informed policy. We are supported by the <a href=\"https:\/\/hewlett.org\/\">Hewlett Foundation<\/a> and Universidad del Pac\u00edfico.<\/p>\n<p>The Conference follows the 2nd OTT Global Conference, held in London in February 2018 and follow-up meetings held in London and Lima. This is not intended to be exclusive of others but rather to ensure that the first conference we organise in Africa maintains the same ethos as the ones we have organised elsewhere.
