The Alliance for Entrepreneurial Equity is a new and exciting joint venture between Third Way and the National Urban League. It seeks to dramatically increase the opportunity for female and minority entrepreneurs to start and expand successful businesses. AEE will research barriers for minority-owned businesses, create federal policy solutions to address those challenges head-on, connect academia to national policymaking, and convene thought leaders on issues facing minority entrepreneurs. AEE works alongside Third Way\u2019s Economic Program; a dynamic team focused on devising and advancing policy solutions supporting the American worker.<\/p>\n

The role<\/h2>\n

Third Way is seeking a Policy Advisor to join the launch team for our new, multi-year advocacy initiative\u2014the Alliance for Entrepreneurial Equity (AEE)\u2014which will build a more robust and more equitable economy by improving opportunities for female and minority entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n

The ideal candidate will work with the program\u2019s Director, Senior Vice President, and other colleagues to increase awareness of these entrepreneurs’ barriers among leaders in Congress, the Administration, and advocacy communities to ensure it becomes a leading public policy issue.<\/p>\n

The role would involve delivering high-impact research and analysis through written and digital materials, collaborating internally and with external partners to design and enact structural policy change, and convening events on essential topics of interest.<\/p>\n
