Ray Struyk, author of Managing Think Tanks, has been very kind to share (and the Carnegie Endowment has been kind to let us publish it) this short video prepared for a group of think tanks in the Middle East. I have edited the videos slightly (still learning how to use iMovie) to highlight some key points.

I hope you enjoy them. I cannot recommend them enough. I’ve watched them a few times now and have drawn quite a few ideas (not all word for word) from them to apply to think tanks I am working with.

In the coming weeks we will be summarising each one of the Managing Think Tanks book so look out for much more on this topic.

The first part of the video focuses on managing human resources: how to motivate your staff?
