The role
NPC is looking for a Media Manager to develop and deliver media strategies and campaigns across sector and mainstream press, broadcast and digital media that will highlight the organisation’s brilliant work.
Key roles and responsibilities
The role involves leading NPC’s work with the media, developing key messages from NPC’s research, supporting NPC’s digital communications, and working closely with other teams to ensure all our research publications and client documents are of the highest quality.
Experience and skills
We are seeking an experienced media professional with a track record of obtaining coverage in relevant and targeted media, and a proactive approach to media relations. A nose for a good story with the ability to spot and capitalise on opportunities quickly is essential. The successful candidate must have excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills, and the ability to cut through jargon and write clearly and compellingly about NPC’s work. An understanding of NPC’s mission, and how to promote the work of a think tank, is essential.
