Liliana Alvarado
General director of Ethos Public Policy Laboratory
Maestra en Políticas Públicas y Administración (LSE) y licenciada en Relaciones Internacionales por el ITAM. Colaboró en la SHCP, donde adquirió una amplia experiencia en materia fiscal. Asimismo, trabajó en FUNDAR en el área de presupuestos públicos, en transparencia presupuestaria y rendición de cuentas. Durante los últimos años ha recibido diversas capacitaciones en la Universidad de Harvard en temas tributarios, en la International Anti-Corruption Academy de Austria en anticorrupción, en economía del comportamiento en el CIDE, entre otras. En Ethos tiene una larga trayectoria y actualmente se desempeña como Directora General, en donde ha coordinado diversos proyectos en materia de transparencia y rendición de cuentas, anticorrupción, gasto y política fiscal.
Liliana has a Master’s in Public Policy and Administration (LSE) and a Bachelor’s in International Relations from ITAM. She collaborated at the SHCP (Mexico’s Ministry of Finance), where she gained extensive experience in fiscal affairs. She also worked at FUNDAR in the area of public budgets, budget transparency, and accountability. Over recent years she has received various training at Harvard University on tax issues, at the International Anti-Corruption Academy in Austria on anti-corruption, in behavioural economics at CIDE, among others. At Ethos she has a long track record and currently serves as Executive Director, where she has coordinated various projects in the areas of transparency and accountability, anti-corruption, public expenditure, and fiscal policy.
