Sophie Gillespie

Sophie is a freelance copyeditor, writer, and publishing project manager. She started her career editing for traditional book publishers, primarily in academic and general nonfiction, but for the last six years she has specialised in working with think tanks, research institutes, and others across the nonprofit sector. Sophie provides writing, editing, and proofreading services that help her clients achieve maximum impact with their publications and other comms output. She also runs Inkwell Communications & Design Studio, offering a popular publication package that combines editing, document design, typesetting, proofreading, and project management in one streamlined service to help busy comms teams. Sophie assists with a wide range of OTT projects; as well as editing various publications, she has written a practice paper on think tanks and impact investing, and supports the comms function as a team member on the technical assistance project to the EU representative in Palestine.
