Susan Njambi-Szlapka

Susan has several years of experience conducting research and evaluations across development and humanitarian programmes. Before joining OTT she was leading the research and learning in anticipatory humanitarian action and disaster risk financing for Start Network . She led and managed evaluations across different countries and programmes in Africa and Asia and was also co-facilitating a MEAL group for practitioners. Prior to that, she was a part of the ODI RAPID team where she led and co-led research and evaluation pieces for clients like WFP, Mastercard Foundation, Wellcome Trust Foundation and others. Her work ranged from assessing the effects of digital technology on agricultural businesses in Uganda to labour market policies and food security in Kenya to evidence-informed policy-making in Ghana. Susan has a background and training in policy evaluation methods.
