India is a vast country with different needs and requirements. Think tanks have diverse approaches to the political decision making processes, although there are certain commonalities in these approaches. This diversity stretches to the huge variety of topics and issues that research organisations address. In this series of interviews from think tanks' Executive Directors we draw comparisons and similarities on the challenges institutions face and how these are overcome, the role and relationships with Board members, building research agendas, and understanding the activities of some of these think tanks.
