Fajri is a lecturer at the University of Indonesia and a former Director of the Centre for Innovation Policy and Governance (CIPG – Jakarta, Indonesia). He has served as a research and policy consultant on various occasions, including for Indonesia’s Ministry of Research and Higher Education, the Knowledge Sector Initiative, and the Partnership for Governance Reform. Fajri has a keen interest in the use and production of knowledge and recently played a leading role in primary research for OTT as part of the Knowledge Translation in the Global South project (2022). Currently, Fajri is pursuing a Ph.D. in Anthropology at the University of Amsterdam, focusing on civil society-based knowledge production by NGOs in post-Suharto Indonesia. His research explores the dynamics and implications of knowledge creation in this context.
