Acoana is a civil non-profit association, of environmental and social nature, whose social purpose is to promote and facilitate the protection of the human right to a healthy, safe, ecologically balanced environment, based on the conservation of biodiversity and the right health. Its social purpose is achieved through activities of research-action, documentation, education, dissemination, training of human resources, donations, social assistance, charitable assistance, as well as any other lawful activity that leads to the achievement of its purpose and social objective.
