Ateneo Policy Center, Ateneo School of Government

ASoG
Quezon City, Philippines

The Ateneo School of Government (ASoG) has built a reputation in promoting good governance and developing key institutions. The School’s programs have made significant contributions in advancing the discussion for policy reforms and innovative solutions that strengthen key democratic institutions like elections, political parties, legislature, bureaucracy, and accountability institutions. The School expanded its work to tackle the economic and social dimensions of political inequality and explore how it continues to be a major barrier to sustained policy reforms and development. This will also include undertaking research studies that promote evidence on how the political and economic landscape are linked to socio-economic outcomes and facilitating evidence-based discussions that will help guide policymakers in crafting the country’s reform strategies. Its main purpose is to provide an institutional vehicle for the development of public servants and a forum for dialogue and partnership among government, private, non-government, and people’s organizations.
