The Basel Institute on Governance is an independent, non-profit think tank that specializes in 1) corruption prevention and public governance; 2) corporate governance and compliance; 3) anti-money laundering initiatives; 4) criminal law enforcement activities, and 5) the recovery of stolen assets. In pursuing these ends, the institute's multidisciplinary and international team works around the world with public and private organizations in order to improve the quality of governance globally.
