CSEND Mission and Objectives CSEND's mission is to serve as a centre of knowledge and innovation in socio-economic research and development. Its objective is to facilitate the advancement and practical application of socio-economic theory to support sustainable development and social change. CSEND works to enhance effective interfacing between different social, economic and political actors in a dynamic system and to strengthen better governance through multistakeholder dialogue and free exchange of information. CSEND is accredited by WTO, has special consultative status with the UNCTAD, registered as NGO by UN-ECOSOC-UNCSD-DESA Civil Society database.
