Centro de Estudios Asiaticos San Marcos

The Center of Asian Studies (CEAS) of San Marcos National University was established in 2018 to study the region of Asia, especially the East Asian region and India, considering the growing importance of this region for Peru. It studies and proposes public policy recommendations so the country can take better advantage of the opportunities offered by the Asian region. It also conducts seminars, conferences and joint research with universities and academic institutions in Asia.
