CEDAL is a Latin American study centre that assumes the mission of training for the practice of democracy, promoting peace and promoting solidarity, social justice and sustainable development. To this end, it formulates and executes processes of research, analysis, reflection and advice on national and Latin American reality, as well as training processes for social and political actors, to build a society inspired by these values and principles. It gives fundamental importance to the exchange of experiences between the various social and political organizations, as well as the search for answers to the problems of development. Its activities include political, trade union, cooperative, environmental, community development, gender, youth and academic organizations.
