The CES -UNNE is an interdisciplinary centre for research, teaching and consulting created in December 2002, which directs its scientific activity in the field of social sciences with the purpose of generating a transversal space of theoretical reflection, although open to the consideration of problems of the region and its society. In this way it is intended to contribute, through research, training, the dissemination of socially useful knowledge and linking with other institutional groups and networks to consolidate - within the scope of this University - the role that falls to the social sciences in the analysis of the reality of our time and its possibilities of transformation.
