The Centre's mission is to contribute to the understanding of the phenomena that accompany the development and application of creativity in people and institutions, particularly in matters related to Higher Education and its impact on national development. CICES actively contributes to reflection on border issues, fundamentally linked to the development of innovation capacities and improvement of institutional and teaching activities. In this context, one of its fundamental purposes is to develop an ability to anticipate and interpret the medium and long-term tendencies experienced in the field of Higher Education, in order to generate a positive link between the University of Santiago and the external environment relevant.
